You can see wildlife floating by from your bed at high tide! In just a few steps and you will be on the sandy beach where you can enjoy the fresh ocean air.

Every cabin is on the beach and features exclusive seating areas with chairs on both sides of the land to watch the sunrise and spectacular sunsets over the water.

BEACHCOMBER
BEACHCOMBER CABIN

This cozy cabin is nestled in the trees and very private yet still just a stones throw away to the hot tub and sauna. Snuggle up in a full-sized bed and enjoy your cozy seating indoors overlooking Kasitsna Bay.

Cabin details

​

The fully equipped outdoor kitchenette includes a double gas burner, pots, pans, dishes and flatware plus a BBQ with grilling utensils. There is a fridge, electric kettle and French press inside. The cabin also comes with a private outhouse and shared outdoor shower just a few steps away. Every cabin is very close to the beach and features private seating on both sides of the land to watch sunrise and sunset. Like all our cabins, you can see wildlife floating by from your pillow at high tide. A few steps down, you will be on the sandy beach of Kasitsna Bay where you can enjoy the fresh salty sea.

Please note Beachcomber is a dry cabin. There is no running water inside the Beachcomber cabin. Jugs of mountain spring water are provided.

Remember to bring your groceries, we have no food service at Between Beaches and we are a land taxi ride away from Seldovia.

PIONEER
PIONEER CABIN

The Pioneer Cabin, built in 1959 has a unique Alaskan history and was named to commemorate, Kristi’s parents Jack and Jo McLean’s pioneering spirit. This historical original homestead cabin faces the inside beach of Kasitsna Bay adjoining Kachemak Bay. Recently, lovingly restored and filled with distinctive special touches it speaks of times gone by and hardy adventurous people. Peacefully rest and rejuvenate in this nostalgic cozy cabin and enjoy rare luxuries of this remote location. From your cabin window or seated in your private beach area witness extraordinary sunrises over the water, stunning landscape and abundant wildlife.

Cabin Details

This historical original homestead cabin has been lovingly restored and faces the inside beach of Kasitsna Bay. Featuring a vintage propane oven and stove, toaster, electric kettle and a coffee machine is also provided. 

Pots, pans, French press and essential cooking items plus crockery and cutlery are also provided. Adjoining the cabin is your own private indoor flushing toilet and your own private outdoor shower. 

Grill outside using your own propane BBQ with utensils outside your cabin door while watching the wildlife in Kasitsna Bay.

From your cabin facing Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet, view breathtaking scenery, including the majestic Alaska Range and abundant wildlife. This cabin is a perfect blend of rustic nostalgia and luxury with surprising special touches for your comfort and enjoyment. We incorporated reclaimed wood and details from a 1914 salmon cannery in Kenai sharing our rich history.

The Fisherman’s Cabin was constructed incorporating reclaimed wood, doors, window and details from a 1914 salmon cannery in Kenai. It is a perfect blend of rustic nostalgia and luxury with surprising special touches for your comfort and enjoyment.

Cook with a view! Tidepool's kitchenette includes an electric 2 hob burner, electric kettle and a drip coffee machine. Dine alfresco with your own BBQ with views over Kachemak Bay. The cabin has an inside flushing toilet and a private outdoor shower attached to the cabin. Tidepool cabin is steps away from the beach and features private seating on both sides of the land to watch sunrise and sunset. Like all our cabins, you can see wildlife floating by from your pillow at high tide. A few steps down, you will be on the sandy beach of Kasitsna Bay where you can enjoy the fresh salty sea.

Tidepool cabin is our newest constructed cabin replacing our large glamping tent and we are thrilled to have another excellent option for your stay in the lineup. We made a note to not compromise the view and added huge windows to offer you fantastic ocean views from the comfort of your bed! Watching the sunset on the ocean while lying in the king bed feels like something straight out of a fairytale!

THE BEACH HOUSE
THE BEACH HOUSE

Accommodating up to 10 guests - our Beach House oozes rustic charm. This is our largest property and has a rich Alaskan history; initially built in 1969, you will enjoy the charm and love the updates we have made. This property was built with privacy in mind and offers ocean and mountain views out every window.

Located 200ft from the main property the Beach House is fully equipped with everything for your comfort and enjoyment. Uniquely positioned - you can enjoy the views of both Kachemak Bay and Kasitsna Bay from the large open plan living space. In just a few steps you will be on the sandy beach where you can enjoy the fresh ocean air.

Soak up the atmosphere in your exclusive wood fired hot tub and make use of the rustic wood fired sauna 200ft down the beach at our main property.

The Beach House features exclusive seating areas with chairs and fire pits on both sides of the land to watch the sunrise and spectacular sunsets over the water.

Beach House Details

 

Enjoy an expansive deck with plenty of seating to view sunsets, eagles and ocean wildlife. There are three main bedrooms, two bathrooms and it features a sleeping loft with four twin beds. The open plan living area boasts a vaulted ceiling and a cozy fireplace with a wood store inside and outside to keep you going on those chilly evenings. Enjoy a full kitchen with a large island to cook all that fresh fish! The Beach House features an electric oven with 4 electric burners, a microwave, dishwasher, electric kettle and a coffee machine. The Sand Dollar Suite exclusive to the Beach House Property is built on the deck overlooking the Lagoon and features the location of the second Queen bed.and en suite. The main bathroom is located in the Beach House. Open plan, perfect for guests to rest while others enjoy the great views around the fireplace.. Like our whalebone mantel detail, and driftwood touches the added Alaskan elements will be fantastic conversation starters as you take in the rich history of Seldovia. Enjoy this remote Alaskan getaway all year long.
